On a paid plan, yes. Suggesting a feature is part of the paid plans, and it is done from the Feedback page once you are signed in. On the free plan you can still report a problem, ask a question and vote on the ideas on the public roadmap.
Who can do what
| Free plan | Paid plans | |
|---|---|---|
| Report a problem | Yes | Yes |
| Ask a question | Yes | Yes |
| Vote on the roadmap | Yes | Yes |
| Suggest a feature | No. You are shown why, and the plans. | Yes |
Problems and questions stay open to everyone, because a wrong result or an unclear page is something Link Signals needs to hear about whoever you are.
A vote and a suggestion
A suggestion is something you send in. A vote is your support for an idea that has already been published. You can vote once on each, and take the vote back. Votes help decide what to plan next, but they are not a promise that an idea will be built.
What happens to what you send
| Status | Meaning | Public? |
|---|---|---|
| Received | It has arrived and has not been read yet. | No |
| Suggested | It has been read and published as an idea people can vote on. | Yes |
| Planned | Decided, and next in line. | Yes |
| In progress | Being built now. | Yes |
| Shipped | Live. If it was yours, you are emailed. | Yes |
| Declined | It will not be done, at least for now. | No |
Everything you send is listed on your Feedback page with its status, and a published item links to the roadmap. Other people cannot see your list. What appears publicly is a title and summary written by Link Signals, never your own words, your email address or your site.
Writing a useful note
- Say what you were doing, what you expected and what happened.
- Name the finding or page. The link in a report, Something wrong with this report?, fills this in for you.
- Give the reason for an idea. A line about how you work tells more than the feature alone.
- Keep passwords and private details out of the form.
Where to read more
- Suggest a feature and follow the roadmap: the full guide to the Feedback page.
- Roadmap: what is suggested, planned, in progress and shipped.
- Pricing: the plans that include suggesting features.
Questions
Will anyone reply to what I send?
Everything is read. If there is a question, you are emailed, and you are emailed again if something you sent ships.
Can I see other people’s feedback?
Only what has been published on the roadmap. Everything else stays private.
Do I need an account to send feedback?
Yes. Feedback is for signed-in users, which keeps the roadmap free of spam.
The roadmap shows what is planned, in progress and shipped.
